Sunday Morning

This morning as I get ready for church I am trying to relax and enjoy my morning. I woke up a little earlier than normal, made my bed, and went at my own pace. Right now as I am typing this I am eating a homemade biscuit my husband made for me. So yummy. Life is good. The picture below is basically what my morning has consisted of. Also this morning I have been listening to the new The Civil Wars album. Thats nothing new though because I haven't been able to stop listening to it since it came out. My favorite track (sort of because they are all great) is Dust to Dust. Michael says he thinks its the only song on the album because I can't stop playing it. Ha.

5. While gathering wood for the fire, this snake scared me half to death when I almost grabbed it thinking he was a branch.

6. I threw a Ron Swanson party for Mike's 25th birthday. Had a Ron Swanson face cake made. It blew my mind. Greatest cake ever.

I have a lot to be thankful for. So much more than I could ever try to put into words. Of course there are always bumps in the road and hard times but at the end of the day God is good and I am grateful. Below are a few good memories from the past couple weeks.

My Weekend on Instagram

I had a wonderful & relaxing weekend and thought I would share a little with you. Saturday morning I woke up and had breakfast at this wonderful cafe with two of my good girlfriends. If you are ever looking for an adorable & yummy breakfast//lunch spot check out Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery. It was a great way to start the morning. Then we went thrifting which I love. We all had some amazing finds! Mine will be on the blog soon, don't worry but I don't want to spoil them by showing them now. Sunday of course I had to watch the Super Bowl with some friends but I actually left right after half time to go home and play football with Sophia, I'd rather watch her play football any day.

1. I love a good bargain, I saw these shoes and new I had to have the no matter what then I saw they were on sale for $49.99 then down to $35.00 so I grabbed them as fast as I could. I'm thinking I'll save them for a nice date which leads to number 2.

2. I got to work and my wonderful boyfriend had stopped by before and left me a note, it kinda made my day. :)

3. Royal blue anything makes me happy. Its my color, as in it makes my eye look good, my color of the moment is actually mint. I'm obsessed.  

4. Dani when we were shopping at Anthropology when I got my shoes, I love that girl. I have the best friends! 

Well I finally went to the doctor since this thing just wont go away. Hopefully in a few days I'll feel all better but I'm going to make myself put together an outfit and put on some makeup tomorrow so be expecting a outfit post soon!

A lot has happened this last year and I have missed blogging terribly. So here I am back and ready to blog. To recap, this year I: Had my first "grown up" vacation, started dating the most wonderful man, moved in with my sister, watched my best friend walk down the aisle, and so much more.  

So now that we are all caught up lets get back to fashion, finally!
