expecting a flood?

I sported these lovely boots all day after yesterdays fiasco. After getting home and trekking through the flood in front of my apartment I found my shoes completely covered in mud. They still are actually, I can't seem to fix them. So instead of ruining more shoes I thought I would wear boots made for this weather. I got a few compliments actually which is always amusing since they are bright yellow rain boots, very typical. As I was leaving church someone asked me, "Are we expecting a flood?" it made me laugh a little. 

So here I am in my "its been raining non-stop for days" outfit. Warm & comfortable.
